About Conway Counseling & Wellness Center
Conway Counseling & Wellness Center has been serving individuals, families, and communities across Central Arkansas for over two decades. With two locations in Conway, we have grown into one of the region’s most established and trusted mental health practices, built on a foundation of clinical excellence and a genuine commitment to the people we serve.
Our Story
We believe mental health is not separate from your overall well-being. It is woven into every part of how you feel, function, and move through the world. That belief has shaped Conway Counseling & Wellness Center from the very beginning, and it still guides every decision we make today, from the providers we bring on to the way we structure care for each client. No matter where you are in your journey, we are ready to help you take the next step.

Our Providers
One of the questions we hear most often is some version of: what is the difference between all these providers? It is a fair question, and one we want to answer clearly.
Every therapy provider at Conway Counseling & Wellness Center is independently licensed in the State of Arkansas. That licensure requires a graduate-level degree, extensive supervised clinical training, and a minimum of 3,000 clinical hours in the field, which for most providers represents three to four years of hands-on experience after completing their graduate program. Our therapists meet that standard and many exceed it, with advanced training across a wide range of specialties including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, couples and family therapy, hypnotherapy, sound therapy, and yoga-informed work.
Our psychiatric team is led by Dr. Danielle Bell, MD, alongside a team of board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Psychiatric nurse practitioners are a distinct specialty, with focused training in psychiatry and mental health medication management rather than general primary care. Our medication providers evaluate symptoms, discuss treatment options, prescribe and manage medications when appropriate, and provide ongoing follow-up care including Medication-Assisted Treatment for addiction and Spravato for treatment-resistant depression. Because both teams work within the same practice, clients benefit from coordinated care that considers the full picture of their mental health.
The Conway Counseling & Wellness Center Difference
We combine mental health therapy with physical wellness services, caring for your well-being as a whole. Our team includes credentialed specialists across areas like substance use, neuropsychology, and couples counseling, and with two Conway locations and telehealth available, we work to make care as accessible as possible. No referral is needed to get started. Our on-site administrative team is here to answer your questions, verify your insurance, and match you with the right provider from your very first call. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds and stages of life.
