I am excited to provide a space where healing and growth can thrive. Life can bring challenges, some expected and some not. During these times, it may be difficult to identify the right next step in improving our mental and physical health. Counseling provides a safe space to explore what growth means for us and how we can achieve our goals and find the best version of ourselves.
I enjoy working with individuals and families across the life span who might be struggling with things such as PTSD, LGBTQ+ related issues, attachment disorders, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, self image issues, anxiety, navigating difficulties within relationships and depression. I am trained in TF-CBT and EMDR treatment modalities. In addition, I also like to incorporate an understanding of mindfulness practices, meditation, and other healthy forms of self care.
I am passionate about working from a person-centered foundation and cultivating a therapist/client relationship that is collaborative, genuine, and non-judgemental.
What I would say to someone considering therapy or counseling for the first time: start where you are and know that everything is figureoutable.
