Fees & Insurance
All you need to know about billing and coverage
Health Insurance Plans Accepted
We accept a wide range of health insurance plans. We are a group of independent providers who work together to provide exceptional counseling and wellness care and we are working towards accepting more health insurance providers as our practice grows.
We currently accept most major insurances including, but not limited to Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Health Advantage, UnitedHealthcare, Trustmark (former CourSource), Ambetter, Cigna, Qual Choice, and Medicare, Aetna, HealthLink, Arkansas Municipal, Tri-Care, and some others.
Each provider is credentialed individually with insurance, so we will work with you to find a provider who is in-network with your insurance.
We do not accept Medicaid.
If you have questions about health insurance, please call the customer service number located on the back of your insurance card and ask about your counseling benefits. Your insurance company can also tell you exactly what counselors are “in-network”.
Fees
Health Care plans set rates according to their own policies and procedures. To put it simply, the insurance companies determine the fee schedule, not your counselor. Each carrier has different rates they reimburse for mental health services. We do our best to work with your insurance plan to help cover costs. However, there are hundreds of different insurance plans and we strongly encourage clients to call their insurance company and ask about their benefits for mental health, sometimes called behavioral health or psychotherapy. Be sure to ask about the deductible and copay, some require these to be met and others do not. You can find a customer service phone number on the backside of your insurance card.
Due to the high costs associated with billing and processing insurance claims as well as other expenses associated with providing all the services you will find in our facility, we are not able to offer a sliding scale.
Each practitioner is committed to doing their best work for each client. As you may expect, when you set up a session that time is blocked off just for you. If you are not able to attend, this time that was dedicated for you is now unable to be filled with another person seeking services. We know that emergencies happen on occasion, but please be respectful of your practitioner’s time that has been reserved for you. If you need to reschedule, please allow 24 hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another person needing service.
Low Cost Sessions
For those without insurance or who have a high deductible, we also offer sessions with our student interns who are completing their master’s degrees or doctorate. Our interns are supervised by an experienced therapist and can be an affordable way to get help.
