Health Insurance Plans Accepted

We accept a wide range of health insurance plans. We are a group of independent counselors and therapists who work together to provide exceptional counseling and wellness care and we are working towards accepting more health insurance providers as our practice grows.

We currently accept Blue Cross, Health Advantage, UnitedHealthCare, CoreSource, Ambetter, Novasys, Cigna, Qual Choice, and Medicare. Some of our counselors and therapists also accept Aetna, HealthLink, Employers Health Choice, Arkansas Municipal, PPO Plus, Tribute Health, and Union Pacific health insurance. We will also work with individuals’ Employee Assistance Programs and currently accept ComPsych EAP. We do not accept Medicaid.

If you have questions about health insurance, please call the customer service number located on the back of your insurance card and ask about your counseling benefits. Your insurance company can also tell you exactly what counselors are “in network” .

Health Care plans set rates according to their own policies and procedures. To put it simply, the insurance companies determine the fee schedule, not your counselor. Each carrier has different rates they reimburse for mental health services. We do our best to work with your insurance plan to help cover costs. However, there are hundreds of different insurance plans and we strongly encourage clients to call their insurance company and ask about their benefits for mental health, sometimes called behavioral health or psychotherapy. Be sure to ask about the deductible and co-pay, some require these to be met and others do not. You can find a customer service phone number on the back side of your insurance card.

Due to the high costs associated with billing and processing insurance claims as well as other expenses associated with providing all the services you will find in our facility, we are not able to offer a sliding scale.

Each practitioner is committed to doing their best work for each client.  As you may expect, when you set up a session that time is blocked off just for you.  If you are not able to attend, this time that was dedicated for you is now unable to be filled with another person seeking services.  We know that emergencies happen on occasion, but please be respectful of your practitioners time that has been reserved for you.  If you need to reschedule, please allow 24 hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another person needing service.

Low Cost Sessions

For those without insurance or who have a high deductible, we also offer sessions with our student interns who are completing their master’s degrees or doctorate. Our interns are supervised by an experienced therapist and can be an affordable way to get help.
