What would I say to someone considering therapy or counseling for the first time?
Give it a few sessions to see if you and your therapist are able to connect. If the connection doesn’t seem to be happening, request to see a different therapist, as the therapeutic relationship is one of the most valuable pieces of the therapeutic process. Lastly, invest in your mental and emotional well being. You are worth it!
