How does my personality influence my approach to therapy?
I view my personality as generally gentle, attentive, empathetic, and reflective. The effect that this has on my approach to therapy is that I am very open and willing to let clients identify and guide much of the process in therapy, while I provide reflection, insight, and feedback to help clients reach their goals.
What I like to do for fun:
I enjoy watching sports, playing video games, reading, spending time with friends, being outdoors, and enjoying the company of my dog.
What would I say to someone considering therapy or counseling for the first time?
I encourage everyone to engage in therapy at some point in their lives. Therapy is not necessarily just for a time of crisis, but it can and should be a safe and helpful space to allow yourself to be vulnerable and receive genuine feedback and support that helps you navigate any number of situations you may find yourself experiencing.
