You Deserve to Know Who’s In Your Corner
Finding the right mental health support starts with trust, and trust starts with knowing who you’re working with. At Conway Counseling & Wellness Center , our licensed mental health professionals were chosen for their credentials, their clinical experience, and their commitment to providing care that actually meets you where you are. Our providers exceed minimum licensing requirements, hold advanced training in their areas of specialty, and are independently licensed or board certified in the State of Arkansas.
We know the mental health landscape can feel confusing. There are a lot of titles out there, and not all of them mean the same thing — so we want to be straightforward with you. What makes Conway Counseling & Wellness Center different isn’t just the individual qualifications of our providers, it’s how we work together. Our therapy team, medication management team, and administrative staff are all part of the same practice, which means your care is connected, coordinated, and built around you as a whole person. From your first phone call to your ongoing care, you’ll be in qualified hands.

Credentialed Providers. Compassionate Care. One Dedicated Team.

Therapists
Not all mental health providers are the same, and we think that distinction matters.
Every therapist at Conway Counseling & Wellness Center is independently licensed in the State of Arkansas. Independent licensure requires a graduate-level degree, extensive supervised clinical training, and a minimum of 3,000 hours of documented clinical experience — which in practice represents three to four years of working directly with clients after completing their graduate program. Our therapists don’t just meet that bar; many exceed it, with additional advanced training in specialized approaches to care.
Our therapy team includes Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), and Psychologists. Their specialties span EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, couples and family therapy, individual therapy for all ages, addiction treatment and recovery support, hypnotherapy, sound therapy, and yoga-informed work, giving us the range to match each client with the right fit for their needs and goals. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds and stages of life.

Medical Team
Our medication management team is on-site, in-person, and actively involved in the care of our clients. Telehealth appointments are also available for follow-up care when appropriate, giving clients flexibility without sacrificing quality.
Our psychiatric team is led by Dr. Danielle Bell, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist, alongside a team of board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. It’s worth noting that psychiatric nurse practitioners are a distinct specialty; their training and scope of practice is focused specifically on mental health and psychiatric medication management, not general primary care. Our medical providers evaluate symptoms, discuss treatment options, prescribe and manage medications when appropriate, and provide ongoing follow-up care.
Because they practice within our larger mental health setting, they work alongside our therapy team to support coordinated, whole-person treatment. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, Medication-Assisted Treatment for addiction, and Spravato® for treatment-resistant depression.
