Christy received her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Lenoir- Rhyne University in 1997. She served as a president of the Arkansas Mental Health Counselors Association and was appointed by Governor Beebe to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling for a 3-year term.
Christy works collaboratively with clients to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the client’s goal(s) for therapy.
Christy has extensive experience working with the following issues; multiple or complex traumatic events, sexual assault recovery, childhood abuse recovery, attention deficit and learning disabilities, mood disorders, personality disorders, and problematic sexual behaviors. She also assists parents and teens navigate the teen years with improved communication and connection between parents and teens.
Christy has extensive experience working with military personal, military families and spouses, law enforcement officers, first responders, expert witness testimony, and juvenile and adult probation.
