I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2015 and my master’s degree in Mental Health and Clinical Counseling in 2017 from Southern Arkansas University. I have worked primarily with children and their families, serving in an intensive therapeutic program prior to transitioning to Conway Counseling. I made the transition to Conway Counseling because I want to serve a variety of ages within the community. Everyone deserves mental health services, no matter what season of life you are in.
“How does your personality influence your approach to therapy?”
—I approach others with empathy and unconditional positive regard. Your life experience is unique to you and your feelings are valid and important. I feel my personality impacts the way I provide therapy because I wholeheartedly want to listen and learn from others. I enjoy helping others recognize their worth. Anxiety has played a large role in my life and decisions. I want to help others handle their anxiety and depression in ways that benefit them and bring joy to their lives.
“What do you like doing for fun?”
—I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I love playing frisbee with my dog, listening to music and podcasts, and reading. I aspire to one day write a book of my own.
“What would I say to someone considering therapy for the first time?
— I believe people deserve to be heard, be themselves, and be happy. Whether you are trying to find yourself, navigate relationships with others, having a difficult time making decisions, or setting boundaries because of anxiety, depression, or trauma, please schedule an intake with me so that we can work toward helping you reach a higher level of mental health and wellness.
