
Dr. Deneen is a Board-Certified Neuropsychologist and Licensed Psychologist. He grew up in Rochester, New York. He attended the State University of New York at Brockport, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (2007) and a Master’s degree in Health Education (2008). He then attended the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri, where he obtained his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychological assessment (2014).
In 2014 Dr. Deneen relocated to Athens, Georgia where he completed his first-year neuropsychology residency. He then completed his second-year neuropsychology residency in Springfield, Missouri in 2017. In 2018 Dr. Deneen obtained a post-doctoral in a Master’s degree in Psychopharmacology from Alliant International University. Finally, in 2021, Dr. Deneen obtained Board-Certification in Neuropsychology from the American Board of Neuropsychology (ABN).
Dr. Deneen has over 10 years of experience working in correctional facilities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient community mental health centers. He has also been working for the past 5 years in private practice consultation. Dr. Deneen is able to complete several different types of assessments including ADHD, psychoeducational, psychiatric, intelligence, and general neuropsychological testing. He also conducts screening evaluations for pre-surgical bariatric and spinal stimulator procedures.
While not working, Dr. Deneen enjoys exercising and spending time with his wife and daughter.
